Rejuvenation Health

We are very excited to announce the addition of Wellness Coach Jon Copper to the staff of The Back Resort as part of our new Rejuvenation Health Center services. Click here to learn more about Jon's Nutrition Health Story.

Jon grew up in the Roanoke area, attending Northside High School, and later Fork Union Military Academy. He walked on and played Division I College Football, eventually earning a scholarship and leading his team in tackles 3 years in a row. Jon and his family have been regular patients and friends of The Back Resort for the last two decades, and Dr. Davidson co-hosts an online radio show with Jon called “Share Good Health”. (you can find us at blogtalkradio.com/sharegoodhealth)

Jon began studying health and nutrition 12 years ago, and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team here. He has experience in personal training, wellness coaching, nutritional advising, and speaking to large groups on health and wellness. In the spring of 2010, he was the co-coordinator of the Biggest Loser Charlottesville program which boasted over 300 participants and raised money and awareness for The Hope Community Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. The average weight lost of those who completed the program was over 17 pounds during the ten weeks. He has given numerous talks on health and wellness speaking to over 1500 people in group and one-on-one settings. Jon also has been an advisor to high school and professional athletes on nutrition and has had several clients currently in the NFL during the last 2 years.

Jon will be offering several benefits to our patients leading what we are calling Rejuvenation Health. His basic philosophy is helping people make positive lifestyle changes to improve their health. Whether you are trying to lose weight, beat cardiovascular issues that have plagued your family, have more energy, detoxify your body, sleep better, increase athletic performance, or improve your health in some other area, Jon could be of valuable service to you.

The primary offering that Jon will be giving patients is a wellness assessment with follow up coaching. This is a two appointment assessment that will give a complete picture of overall health addressing diet, lifestyle, exercise, stress, emotions, and health concerns. The patient will then be given a game plan for reaching clear goals in improving his or her current state of wellness.

For the months of July and August, this assessment has a special promotional pricing for all existing Back Resort Patients of only $39. This is a savings of over 40%, and will be available for a short time. You have an excellent opportunity to get a clear picture of your health and start moving forward in a positive direction. Additionally, any patient that signs up for an assessment will receive a $10 coupon for any non-service products sold through The Back Resort.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with Jon, or schedule a wellness assessment, let us know at the front desk, or call us (540) 389-2225.

Dr. Dan Asks some important questions of interest to Salem residents - Chiropractor Salem Dr. Dan Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Salem residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Salem folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
